Fenerbahçe lifted the 19th Turkcell Super Cup after a 2–0 win over Galatasaray, the club's fourth Super Cup and the first trophy of the season.
Matteo Guendouzi opened the scoring on his competitive debut for the club — a start to a Fenerbahçe career that few players get. Jayden Oosterwolde added the second, and from that point the game never looked like slipping away.

Kick-off landed at 7:45 in the morning Pacific Time. The Society's clubhouse in Manhattan Beach was full long before that, and the two goals were celebrated seven thousand miles from Kadıköy with exactly the volume you would expect.
