The Society supported a member campaign asking the international federations to examine allegations reported in the Turkish press concerning Galatasaray Sports Club officials.
In December, members of the Society took part in a letter-writing campaign asking FIFA and UEFA to review allegations that had been reported in the Turkish media concerning officials of Galatasaray Sports Club.
The Society's position is narrow and procedural: where allegations touching the integrity of competition are publicly reported, the governing bodies of the sport should be the ones to examine them. We take no view on the substance of the reports, which have not been tested by any tribunal.
Members who wished to participate did so individually, in their own names.
