The room went up twice. Fenerbahçe beat Galatasaray 2–0 to lift the Turkish Super Cup.

Kick-off at 7:45 in the morning in California, and the clubhouse was already full. Matteo Guendouzi opened the scoring on his debut, Jayden Oosterwolde doubled it, and the fourth Super Cup in the club's history was on its way to Kadıköy.

It is hard to explain to anyone outside the family what a 2–0 win over Galatasaray sounds like at breakfast time in Los Angeles. Everyone in the room understood.
